Antioxidant boost, Ginger Juice

Ginger has been used in medicine for thousands of years back, due to it’s many health benefits. The herb is a part of the Zingiberaceae family, which also includes turmeric, cardamom and galangal. The ginger is high in gingerol, a substance and active compontent with powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Ginger may also be effective against exercise-induced muscle pain.

Ginger Juice 1 liter

10 dl water
200 gram ginger
2 lemons
1/2 dl honey
Turmeric (optional)
Apple cider vinegar (optional)

Heat up the water, take it off before it starts to boil, and add the ginger. Strain away the ginger after a while, and add juice from the 2 lemons, and finally 1/2dl honey, and voilà. Drink hot or cold as prefered, and store in the fridge 1-2 days.
