Rosehip face balm
For dry skin, or for the winter months with dry air and cold, an organic beeswax oil is an essential remedy for the skin. Organic cold-pressed oils and protective beeswax, acts as a true moisturizing skin cream.
You can make a beeswax oil with 7% beeswax and 93% of your favorite oil. But to get the best possible skin care from your beeswax oil, you use a combination of different oils and preferably an oil-soluble extract as well. Then your beeswax oil becomes a really effective organic soothing remedy, completely natural without additives or chemicals.
Rosehip face balm 100ml
1 tbsp argan oil, or similar organic cold-pressed oil
2 tbsp rosehip oil
2 tbsp shea butter
1 tbsp beeswax
1% essential oil such as geranium, cypress, frankincense, bergamot
How to
1. Heat the oil, butter and beeswax together in a water bath until the wax has melted. Remove the mixture from the heat.
2. Add the essential oils and pour the cream into a clean glass jar.
3. Allow the cream to cool down for 1-2 hours before putting the cover on. Store the jar in a cool and dark place.
The balm lasts up to three months.
